This movie is an answer to an age old question. Thats right who would win an Alien or a Ninja if they fought?
Ninja no wait Alien. Watch the movie to find out.
A red streaking comet breaks the calming night to deliver the sinister aliens to our planet. The ninjas coming back from a mission see the comet and report it back to their master.
On their way to search for object tat fell from the heavens they are ambushed.
Who and what was that? The ninjas must find out by staking their lives on an all out fight.
Now that I'm done with the plot lets move onto the things I like most.
The ninjas are made up of some really talented swords men/woman. Throw in the Q of the ninja world who makes explosive bamboo bombs and a gun out of tree bark and you have some comedy relief for a few scenes.
The action sequences are smooth fluid sequences. The outfits for the ninjas remind me a little bit of playing final fantasy. The aliens well... I kept thinking of a dolphins head with blow holes. The rest of the body was like alien3.

Legion: The Final Exorcism
I stumbled upon this diamond in the rough for a horror flick movie.
A priest with a haunting past of a exorcism on his own wife must face the demon again in a young girl recently possessed.
Overall I thought this was a decently done flick. Fairly good acting, the scenery was spot on perfect and devil voices for the demonic stat was good.
The main priest in the movie reminds me of a old private eye meets Dresden files.
He narrates as the story unfolds about his past and the ongoing story of the possessed girl.

Alice in Murderland
I can't say enough that I really enjoyed this movie.
I think I enjoyed it for all the wrong reasons but none the less I did. I couldn't help myself from laughing silly and a big dopey grin on my face. The small one liners were right up b-rated alley.
Film starts off a young mother looking at a potential house on the market. "The glass house"
Strangely enough this house has a sewing room in the basement that is just full of fabric and sewing machines.
You see the mother get axed to start off the tale. Flash forward 20 years to her daughter Alice who is in a soriety and about to celebrate her 21st birthdays at her best friend's house ("the glass house") that her uncle just bought. The same very place that her mother was murdered.
One by one the soriety sisters start to die.
This movie has some great stereo types. The stoner, the dumb blond chick, bitchy spoiled rich girls and kat as the though ass biker chick. well maybe just tough but i'm just going to pretend biker chick.
The fight scenes are lacking. You see an axe swing about 10 times and the person slowly falls to the floor, no cuts on the skin or entrails hanging out. Just smeared blood.
That I can live with. They're at least telling a story and working with what they got. So it passes for me.
Sound in the movie is off as well, not by sync but the scenes where they are walking down the road you can hear ever freaking gravel pebble they are stepping.
I almost bailed out of the movie at this point but luckily it didnt last long so hang in there and keep watching.
After that we get to the awesome costume party of allice in wonderland with the short skirt. What a college fantasy of cat fights that have bad slappign and hair pulling. Score 1 for men. Actually whole movie is more for men in eye candy.
The party that the girls shows up to has ZERO alcohol for a 21st birthday... Ahhh did I miss the point of 21st birthday in College. Nope this cast got this part wrong.
I do reccomend this movie to anyone looking for a good twist to alice in wonderland. Theirs babes in short skirt, cat fights, and random acts of violence in my book its a winner.

Iron Invaders
I don't want to be the one that thinks that bacteria that fell out of the sky can animate a 10 ton statues is over our heads but it did fall from the sky.
This movie starts with a bang. A Russian satellite falls out of the sky and lands in a small town that is almost gone out of business. The wreckage that does survive is loaded into a truck and taken to the local scrap yard to be sold for some quick cash.
Sitting in the junk yard is a 17ft tall statue of a Iron Golem that the owner is making for the towns square. Until the bacteria that the satellite brought back to earth decides to make a new home out of it.
"ITS ALIVE".... yes the golem starts animate itself into reality with glowing red eyes. The golem is off to feed on whatever it feeds. The tows folk start to die after being touched by the golem.
How will they manage to stop this this huge tonnage of a golem?
You'll have to find out.
The movie does start off slow by introducing our main characters in a small recession hit town. Once highschool sweet hears and now one getting a divorce with child and the other fixing up a hotel that his past away parents wanted to see completed.
Once you get through the love fest we get to the giant machine walking and killing stuff.

Artic Blast
What better way than to enjoy a ice cold beer by watching a movie about everything turning to ice.
We start this chiller movie off by seeing a solar eclipse up in the sky. What people don't know that due to all of our horrible pollution the weakened ozone layer allows in our upper layers of COLD atmosphere to drop down to earth and form a cold fog of death and creepy sound effects.
Like any good sci fi flick we have (Michael Shanks) playing a scientist that is studying the weather. Not a bad role for him. His character is a work-a-holic that has lead to an almost divorce and a child that doesn't want to talk to him.
The Ice fog in this movie is pretty sweet. It rolls into the area freezing everything in its path. People, dogs, cars you name it. The lucky few that managed to stay inside and have a fireplace going lived.
Before long more holes appear and it looks like the earth is doomed to another ice age. Our good professor is then at a race to come up with a solution to solve the worlds demise.
Be prepared that if you ask our professor what caused this it is a great one liner about we brought this on our self and that was pollution.
A few other side quest challenges are sprinkled into this movie to add more drama.
I give this move a solid 4 on my scale.

Land of snow and ice 4/5 probably could have used frozen ducks in the water.

The Horde
Ever wonder what it would be like to be attacked by a rabbid dog? The ones that just keep coming and trying to bite you.
This movie will almost answer that question.
Movie starts off at a funeral, Grieving friends crypticaly talk to a mother that payback will happen and that they'll all come home safe.
Yeah opening sequence was just confusing so ignore it and realize they are all cops and one of their partners died because of a gang. They make a vow of vengence and possy up to get the bad gang.
They break into the almost abandond appartment building and work their way up to the bad people.
A screw up on the part of one of the last tenants causes the team to get shot and capture.
The gang starts to interagate the police when explostions outside across the city brings the the situation to a explosive point.
Zombie sworm out of the surrounding area to claim their cagged food of humans.
The new alliance of cops and crimials must make a stand or escape certain deah with the zombie horde.
I like this movie. The zombies are fast and fairly gruesome to look at. The cast play a fairly good role to lead the situation into further chaos.

Overal 4/5 for a low budget zombie flick.

Ghosts dont Exist
I recently had the pleasure to watch Ghosts don't exist. The movie starts off a bit slow but builds up some steam when a team of ghost hunters and a writer that debunks many ghost hunters arrive at a old undertaker's house.
The current resident has seen different super natural things and tells the main person that he has seen his dead wife and he has a message for him.
After giving the message the doctor pulls a gun and shoots himself in the head.
The team sets up to get to the bottom of the truth and the writer tries his best to debunk. Through the night many things go awry and the team winds up in the basement where the previous owners committed suicide.

Ghost Machine
Ghost Machine
This is a Scifi/horror flick. Not much gore but the thought behind it was pretty sweet.
Starts off with a military strike force going in to extract a prisoner. People are dieing left and right. Then Bam an explosion and you find out they were in a virtual reality training.
The starts of this film encompase a Young blond in the british military, Two Techs who run the game system, a wicked over the top military sargent, and then a few fill in friends to play the game.
Fast forward tot the good parts, They tech decide to take the game off base and setup in a soon to be demolished prison. This prison was the site of some brutal interigations of military prisioners.
On the first paly through in this new surrounding they notice a few strange things that start to happen. A cold room in the basement of all places, how orriginal, has a ghost that weilds a skull thrashing chain.
The techs realize the players are stuck in the game and are forced to go in to retrieve the players before they die.
